Owner/Pitmaster 34 year old John Moore, born in Decatur Illinois but raised in Columbia MO. John found his passion for smoking meats in 2018, it was something he found interesting and it started from there. John learned throughout the years the science of smoking meats, temps to get the meats nice
and juicy and tender. 2yrs later he decided to start his own business, registered his llc J's Smoked Que. John also found passion for making his own rubs called como sweet, also his own bbq sauce called como sweet heat. In 2022 John entered his first local bbq competition called the Renz belndz grill off, of course he brought home 1st place and from there on the rest is history. Summer of 2023 his food truck will be established.
